 Call for 5-Minute Lightning Talks

We invite industry professionals, academic and career advisors, and recent graduates to inspire students who are transitioning from academia to industry.

Share a short, punchy talk (maximum 5 minutes) with practical advice, frameworks, or real-world stories that students can apply immediately.

What we’re looking for

  • One bold, actionable idea or takeaway 
  • Clear, honest stories and steps that help students succeed
  • Talks with no slides are welcome (If you prefer to share slides, please keep it up to 3 slides max (optional, keep them visual and simple)

  • Your name, role, and organisation
  • Talk title (up to 80 characters)
  • Talk Abstract (2–3 sentences) 
  • Delivery mode (virtual only)
  • Contact information and consent to record and distribute

Talks may be recorded and shared with our student community. Please focus on delivering value and practical guidance—no sales pitches.
