Applying? Here’s What You Should Know
Yes, this is a real work experience. From day one, interns work on real-world projects relevant to their field. You’ll apply the skills you learn to practical tasks, gaining hands-on experience in a professional environment.
The program is designed to make you job-ready, and while we do not guarantee job placement, many of our interns secure jobs either through the program’s connections or their enhanced skills and portfolio. Exceptional interns may also be considered for roles within Tutor10x or our partner organisations.
The internship is unpaid; however, it provides structured learning, project experience, and mentorship that significantly enhance your employability.
Yes, outstanding interns may be offered opportunities within Tutor10x, depending on available roles and your performance during the internship. However, The program is strictly designed to make you job-ready mainly through the program’s connections, graduation pitching to our partner organisations.
During the internship, you’ll work on structured, real-world projects that align with your field of study or interest. These projects are designed to:
- Build your portfolio: Showcase your technical and professional skills with completed projects.
- Develop practical skills: Gain hands-on experience working with industry-relevant tools and technologies.
- Strengthen your competencies: Work on Tutor10x's key products, including AutoPilot, Lab Booster, and Secure Assess, which are designed to enhance teaching and learning for educational institutions.
You’ll complete as many micro-projects as possible based on your current knowledge and competencies. These projects are short, focused tasks that help you learn tools in demand in the job market.
To complement your technical work, you’ll also have the opportunity to create instructional videos that explain the steps you took to complete these projects. These videos will be transformed into software simulations and added to our library, creating a lasting contribution to Tutor10x while enhancing your portfolio.
This combination of project work and content creation ensures that you gain practical experience, expand your technical knowledge, and build a portfolio that reflects your skills and competencies.
Not necessarily. The program is designed to simulate real-world work environments, where Scrum teams are often made up of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. During your internship, you’ll collaborate with individuals from various fields, such as UX designers, business analysts, product owners, front-end and back-end developers, and subject matter experts like AI or accounting specialists.
While there may be members with similar skills, the program’s primary goal is to help you grow by adapting to Australia’s work culture, where communication, teamwork, and collaboration are key. You'll also gain experience working within the Scrum methodology, a widely used approach in professional settings that emphasises adaptability, collaboration, and iterative progress.
The training in this program is designed to be hands-on, personalised, and highly effective. Unlike traditional internships that often lack proper training, our program provides a unique combination of practical learning, feedback, and mentorship to help you grow.
Here’s what to expect:
- Personalised Task Assignments:
- Tasks are assigned based on an initial analysis of your competencies, ensuring they are neither too simple nor overly complex.
- These tasks are designed to challenge you and keep you engaged.
- Detailed Feedback:
- Once you deliver and present your tasks, you will receive in-depth feedback to help you enhance your technical and presentation skills.
- This personalised feedback mechanism ensures continuous skill improvement.
- Scrum Methodology Training:
- You’ll participate in key Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- By observing and contributing, you’ll gain a practical understanding of Scrum without the need for lecture-based training.
- 1:1 Meetings with the Scrum Master:
- These sessions focus on improving your communication skills and helping you integrate into professional team dynamics.
- Masterclasses by Dr. Mohammad:
- Learn directly from Dr. Mohammad in exclusive masterclasses focused on applying your learning to real-world career development.
- These sessions will also guide you on how to make yourself job-ready.
This comprehensive training ensures you not only gain technical skills but also develop soft skills, confidence, and real-world experience that will set you apart in the job market.

Yes, the program builds on your existing knowledge and helps you advance your skills by working on more complex projects and learning industry tools.
Yes, experienced professionals can benefit by expanding their skill set, working on diverse projects, and staying updated on the latest industry practices and tools. The program can also help you transition into new specializations.
Yes, creating professional presentations and video tutorials is a key element of our program. The focus is not only on completing micro-projects related to your field (e.g., connecting Power BI to a specific data source or creating a system architecture diagram) but also on developing your presentation and instructional skills.
Here’s how it works:
- Project Completion:
- You’ll start by completing micro-projects relevant to your field, ensuring hands-on experience and skill development.
- Professional Presentations:
- After completing each project, you’ll create detailed presentations showcasing every step from start to finish.
- These presentations are designed to be at a professional standard, preparing you to present yourself as a trainer or expert in tools like Python or Power BI.
- Collaboration and Workflow Training:
- You’ll work closely with our teams, collaborating daily and following workflows that indirectly teach advanced concepts such as DevOps and Scrum Methodology.
- Quality Assurance:
- Your presentations and tutorials will be reviewed to ensure they are clear, precise, and user-friendly.
- Only after careful review and verification will your work be converted into software simulations for our library.
By the end of the program, you’ll not only have a portfolio of completed projects but also polished instructional materials that showcase your expertise and presentation skills, making you stand out in the job market.
