One-Day Internship™ – Backend Developer is a hackathon-style event designed for aspiring backend developers. Over the course of the program, participants engage in real-world challenges, receive mentorship, and collaborate in a simulated work environment with a Sydney-based tech company.
The event offers students the opportunity to demonstrate their technical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced setting. Top performers receive a certificate of participation, while high-scoring UTS students may be considered for a 3-month unpaid part-time work experience placement — with the potential to secure a job offer on the spot.

Title: Scrum Master & Business Analyst at High Tech Masterminds
Profile: Thobias is a Scrum Master and Business Analyst with a background in Data Science and Marketing, having graduated from the University of Western Australia. He currently works with Tutor10x at High Tech Masterminds, where he brings his expertise in IT business analysis, project management, and Scrum methodologies to the team. Sagal is a Business Analyst with hands-on experience in Agile delivery, CRM systems, and digital project coordination. During an internship at High Tech Mastermind, Sagal contributed to the One-Day Hire initiative—supporting process improvements and founder engagement for a fast-track recruitment program. Skilled in stakeholder collaboration and business analysis, Sagal helps turn ideas into clear, scalable solutions.

Sam is a dedicated Event Coordinator at High Tech Masterminds, responsible for managing and coordinating events at Tutor10x.
